I tried using it. Putting my phone down on any surface would trigger it. Made my biometrics completely useless. Too sensitive on my device, even on the lowest settings :(

I’ve seen multiple ppl review them and say they are complete shit.
The lack of staggering between the rows would drive me nuts. Fuck that…
My Instagram is full of fitness content (and good looking people tbh). Nothing comes even remotely close on pixelfed. No offence to federated social media, but we all ain’t good looking :) (or suck at using filters…)
It’s still a very long way off from taking over Instagram.
Being overly Paranoia? Can’t think of another valid reason.
What casual use can you do on windows/Linux that you can’t on android?
And Android is so much better than windows/Linux for touch that it’s not even a competition.
I have the galaxy tab ultra. I use it more than my actual tablet for surfing and lounging and watching videos. For work and productivity I use my laptop. If I really had to pick one, I’d probably pick the tablet. It’s all about what you do with it + formfactor
(have a desktop for actual gaming)
Also, the Lenovo y700 is an awesome device if you want an 8inch tablet.
I also prefer electric cars, but goddamn if I haven’t gotten a heart attack multiple times from a sneaky silent ev fly past me minding my own business walking on the road. (not every road has sidewalks in the non-US city where I live)
Don’t want to get into a whole argument, But ltt suggested to stop throwing dirt. GN turned around and just continued slinging dirt. Just feels weird to me.
A whole lot of shit slinging at LTT for no real reason. At when LTT rebuked the claims and suggested to stop doing so and work together in the future, GN just decided to double down and continue.
A bunch of childish stupid drama tbh, but very one-sided.
To be honest, GN is not worth your viewing time anymore. He’s just trying to stir drama on tech YouTube for the sake of starting drama…
He got multiple olive branches offered to stop the drama and he just threw them on top of the fire. He’s being a manchild for no reason.
Cheers. Rom hacks are like indie gaming lite. Some of them are great fun.
I use a seedbox abroad and secure ssh to transfer stuff to my own server. Don’t see what additional security a vpn would give me.
Half the foreigners survive on the shitty education system though. No need to organize mass deportations in Japan. Just stop English education and 50% of white guys are gone instantly.
Or native gestures in Firefox. Either would be perfect.
Is there a single good article on Forbes? It’s always fucking clickbait without actual content.
Yeah, as long as Firefox (or a fork) doesn’t have native gestures, I can’t fulltime swap to it. Gestures addons are not the same. Anyone that used vivaldi (or opera) for any serious length of time knows what I mean.
I work for a large eu government agency. Why the hell they still insist that we promote our workings on Twitter completely eludes me. It does not make any sense whatsoever. They should get off and stop promoting that cesspool. Go to any of the myriad of competitors or just go back to Facebook and Instagram…
Really? Been using a logitech trackball at work for 14 years now. My k750 keyboard lasted me almost 10y until the battery completely gave up and I wanted to upgrade. My Mx keys has lasted me for years since.
Similar stories for my mice, none of them have failed, I’ve only upgraded because I wanted lighter, more/less buttons or for other reasons.
Ofcourse not, I also use fdroid and I sideload a shitton of apps. But Google is not killing off alternate stores, they’re just making their store safer. My whole point is that this change is not that negative. If anything it’ll have a positive effect on non tech savvy users. It’ll save me time by potentially causing less issues on the devices of family members.
The weird thing is that once you get a foot in the door, Japanese immigration policies actually aren’t that strict. You just need a guarantor (company) to be willing to hire you.
The language barrier and hesitancy of companies to hire non-Japanese is the actual barrier, not so much the immigration policies themselves. The government could ofcourse encourage companies to hire foreigners…but Japan changes at a glacial pace.
I’m sure they’ll be ready to deal with the new world under trump by 2035-40
