44·2 months agoI fully agree. If you want to be able to cast subtle spells, invest in the abilities required to do so. Otherwise I say someone starting to cast a spell without warning will be treated the same as someone pulling out a knife without warning: sure they might be planning something on doing something harmless like peel an apple, but without context, you’re going to assume the worst and react accordingly.

Nintendo’s lawyers are probably preparing a patent application right now claiming they invented the farming sim game.

12·6 months agoChaining someone to a job sounds more like indenture than strong labour laws.
Actually strong labour laws let employees choose to work for a different employer, while requiring the employer to have a valid reason to dismiss the employee.

Since that’s Charlie Chaplin doing a mocking parody of Hitler, what do you want to stop? People making fun of Nazis?

I enjoyed it enough that I completed it 3 times: firstly in normal mode, then in hardcore mode, then with the Deathrun mod.

22·2 years agoWhy are we quoting each other? I remember the comment before yours. I made it. Idiot.
Because quoting in a response provides structure to the response that improves readability.
Also, you are posting on a publicly accessible forum, not having a one-on-one conversation. In that context, that fact that you may remember what you said doesn’t mean that it’s not beneficial to repeat it for others.
The “idiot” comment was unnecessarily rude where someone was engaging in what appeared to be a good faith response, and only brings down the tone of your entire post.

1·2 years agoWhy so often? I just updated my almost 10 year old PC that had one gpu upgrade in its life, and was still happily playing the 10 year old games I wanted to play.
Then I got the new PC with decent specs and decided to push its limits with some Stardew Valley.
