13·2 days agoSo like Russia and Assad?
I hopped mainly among a few. Then it was Debian for a long time. Then hopped again for no particular reason. My Mint kernel panicked once a few weeks ago, so I might hop again.
A few years ago, I was with a few friends when we saw a cat with similar color pattern as the cutie here. I said look how beautiful it is, and they looked at me weird. I had forgotten about that.
“Ironically,” it’s a picture I used as a profile pic on my real life accounts.
I shouldn’t even be around.
I don’t know which is worse: that there is no sense of self anymore, or that I have to put on masks to pretend there is.
I’m not. And I’m not sure if I should be. And I can’t go there anyway. I sometimes wish I could though.
Aw, I want dark magic.

News@lemmy.world•Trump’s State Department Admits to Investigating All Passport Applicants For “Evidence of a Prior Sex Change”
11·10 days agoFor a people who yell “family values,” they sure are into other people’s genitals.
I’m beginning to feel left out. Also, should I be worried that in my head I spoke to my hypothetical cat in the cases you described?
Thanks to the internet, I can vicariously feel the joys (and pains and annoyances) of having pets.
One of my “friends” explicitly told me that they hated talking to me, and yet they kept doing it until I mangled the relationship. Or maybe it magled itself or was always.
I’m not even a concept. To others, yes, unfortunately everyone is some sort of a concept. But to myself, I don’t even think I’m a concept.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Whenever I talk to not terminally online people
4·16 days agoOh, that’s a good one. I’m very far from being tech savvy myself, so I gradually tried to remind myself people can not care enough about this stuff to learn even some basic terminology or have other, more urgent concerns. A lot of the service industry depends on this kind of unfamiliarity, I guess.

10·16 days agoHave you ever heard something like saying “His Windows is Linux”?
An upgrade to having never heard of Linux but also a downgrade somehow
Are they going to invite North Korea’s leader for the after-party?

I swear, the drama with these two!
