  • You make a valid point on filling the space, my example being the types of games that are mainstream. Haven’t played an FPS in probably 5 or more years for similar reasons to what you stated, and feel like that’s all that’s churned out now. Just copy pasted ultra competitive stale shit with no real creativity. I tend to stick to indie for this reason now and will play co-op with friends, but even there there’s holes of competitive garbage to fall into. Anyway, appreciate the insight.

  • I started this game recently and I have no idea what the hell I’m doing. Like…I can’t tell if being overwhelmed is the point but Jesus it’s a fucking lot right out the gate. I feel like they did a great job introducing the systems but then they just drop you on your ass? Like I have a robot limit. Okay, how do I increase that limit? ‘You can play the game how you want! You don’t have to be combat centric’ Game then proceeds to IMMEDIATELY attack one of my buildings. ‘Objective: capture a cargo drone’ doesn’t tell you what the fuck you can do with it. I’m venting for the most part and fully intend to keep at it but God damn I’m floundering.

  • I guess it depends on what you use your computer for. If you’re only doing web browser related surfing and gaming, not a lot of need for it. If you have delicate files that aren’t replaceable and aren’t backed up already via a cloud service, sure, definitely a good idea to setup a RAID. Have a full blown media server? Yeah, you’d want a RAID. My thing is recommending a RAID to someone that is literally building their first computer is elitist and not being considerate of the person’s skill level or understanding of PCs.
