Do you even git?
Surely experiment 1…n should be branches.
Why would you use the Finder when macOS has a perfectly fine shell?

Kind of dumb to set the auto-reply to a Welsh text, you’d expect that people needing the services of a Welsh translator won’t be able to understand the text.

Your vote should be weighed with an inverse relationship to age. That is: the older you are the less your vote should count. Older people who are closer to death have an incentive to vote for short-term gain over long-term improvements. This is how we got into the climate crisis, the world is being ruled by reheated corpses who don’t give a crap about the future.
That probably would have killed him even faster yes. Usually with crucifixions people weren’t nailed but tied to the cross with ropes.
Yes, it makes it harder to both inhale and exhale because it makes it difficult to expand or compress your chest since your whole body weight is keeping it stretched.
Basically, once your feet/legs get too tired to carry your weight you hang from your arms. This basically means to breathe you have to push up your entire body weight with your chest muscles. After a while you get too exhausted to breathe and suffocate.
Crucifixion didn’t lead to death by starvation but by suffocation.

You’re just mad because I’m pre-empting your bullshit. You ask ‘what country’ and then plan to go blabbing about how that country sucks and how much better the US is. You know just as well as me that the US is shithole by pretty much every metric.
Crazy levels of violence, poverty, inequality, shitty standard of living unless you’re super rich, etc.

I live 9 ranks above the US according to the UN Human Development Index, although I’m sure that gap will widen with president Cheeto at the helm.
BorgDrone@feddit.nlto News@lemmy.world•There is no safe amount of processed meat to eat, according to new research131·2 months agoI sure hope not. Sodium nitrite is one of the ‘problematic’ compounds and is used when curing meat, especially to prevent the bacteria that produces botulinum toxin from growing. While nitrites may kill you slowly, botulism can kill you much faster.
The problem with food that contains the botulism bacteria is that you don’t notice it. It doesn’t look or smell any different. Any meat that wasn’t cured using a specific minimum percentage of sodium nitrite is not to be trusted.
Not sure why buying groceries on a bike would be annoying or impossible. I do all my grocery shopping by bike, every single day, sometimes twice a day. Just bring a backpack.
As for ‘anything of size’, what would you need to transport? I still have a car, but I use it so little that I only need to buy gas maybe once or twice a year.
