The insane experiment paid off! This game of games is a pure expression for the joy of gaming. I’ve put some hours in just poking around, and find myself consistently pleased at everything I play. Not everything is my type of game, but they still stand out as well made and even drew me in a couple times. Warp tank was the first to really grab hold of me and I want to beat it first.

People keep saying it’s like alternate reality Nintendo, and it’s clear why just by looking at it. I think it’s more the crystallized memory of how those days felt as a gamer. The magic of sitting in front of an old zenith on a rainy day and playing that weird rental you found. UFO 50 is like the smell that triggers a powerful memory you haven’t had in decades. I can’t wait to jump back in.

I don’t agree with you. No one will immediately fill his shoes. All the dip shits who are lined up to try are already proven failures that can’t gather the base enough. They will flounder for quite some time if they can’t manage to steal the election. Saying evil will rise again eventually is basically saying air exists. No shit the fight never ends, but it’s not nearly as hopeless as you posit.

Trump was able to gather the hordes of weirdos in a way none of those other movements could. For whatever reason, he was an exceptionally powerful populist, and the other craven greed monsters want that power bad. It’s been shown that that magic doesn’t run off on them though and it seems to be flaking off trump very quickly these days.

There will always be another eventually, but it can’t be denied that Trump’s star is falling, and the Republicans have no one able to gather the hordes like trump could at the moment. If they lose their ass in November, it’s very possible that it takes them quite a while to regroup in any real way. Their penchant for infighting will slow things down.
