While I appreciate the reference, my username was originally inspired by the X-Men. Not even sure if the toynbee tiles had started at that point.
That said, I have of course become familiar with them. One time I was walking through a new part of Philadelphia, looked down, and just happened to be standing over one. It was disconcerting to see my username on the ground in a completely unfamiliar area.
