Why “luckily?” Either way there are countries building it right now, with good results, so we do know quite a lot about the process so far.

So far no one has built it to the level where money is useless. And the countries that have tried ultimately failed and usually returned to capitalism - for example India, Israel or pretty much most of Warsaw pact countries.

Don’t see why that’s an issue, ideology can’t get in the way of material conditions and reality, that’s ultraleftism.

And the countries that have tried ultimately failed and usually returned to capitalism - for example India, Israel or pretty much most of Warsaw pact countries.

Some did, many didn’t and are continuing to remain Socialist, like the PRC, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, and the DPRK, to varying degrees of success and style. We can continue to watch and see how they change and develop over time.

They’re just going to move the goalposts on you again. Capitalism lovers seem to think that if it doesn’t immediately work 100% right away, then it’s trash. They provide nothing of substance while criticizing even the smallest attempts towards actual progress. “Capitalism works for me and allows me to buy pointless shit while dying for nothing, therefore no one should even try.”

I’ve seen this a lot with many Western Leftists as well, they tend to reserve the harshest criticism for Leftist movements, rather than liberal movements. Not all, of course, but many.

            Right on the nose.

Yea, the countries you mentioned are one of the most advanced ones and one of the best places to live. I very much plan to move to one of those…

Advanced in terms of Mode of Production, yes. You are aware of the fact that time progresses, yes? Countries are not static, neither are their material conditions.

If you look at “advanced” countries, it’s typically countries that brutally exploit and colonize the Global South, like America and the EU. The PRC has some highly advanced Tier 1 cities now though, so some Socialist countries are starting to surpass Western countries.

Yes, we see a lot of advancements in North Korea, Laos or Kuba. Those are totally not one of the poorest ans most deprived nations in the world.

And yes, the fact Kim family abuses their citizens is totally EU’s and USA’s fault.

The DPRK, Laos, and Cuba all fare better than Capitalist countries of the same level of development, focusing on uplifting the average person rather than profit will do that.

Would you mind explaining what you mean by “the Kim family abusing their citizens?”
