I’d like to use my Google Pixel 8 as a light desktop pc, via a USB-C Dock.

Connecting the phone to the dock works fine, but most apps are not made for a large screen.

So my idea was: Can we maybe use some lightweight linux distro until google releases the “desktop”-mode?

Samsung had this a few years ago, but discontinued the app.

    Doesn’t look good from the device compatibility aspect:

    Termux also supports Android 12 but running the app on this version of Android would kill phantom processes and crash the app, meaning spawning several processes would randomly close the application unintentionally. if you plan to upgrade your device to Android 12, upgrade at your own risk!
