    Can’t find the comic at the moment, but it immediately came to my mind:

    • Dude holds a purple flag
    • Sees guy with a yellow flag greeting him
    • Looks at his flag
    • Thinks “Fuck that guy”

    People can hate each other for any reason imaginable. Looking differently is just the simplest one.
