Great Teacher Onizuka is probably the closest thing to Golden Boy. If you want something more recent then maybe Prison School but I haven’t really watched it honestly.

Just popping in to say that if you liked the Golden Boy anime, you should read the manga because it’s like 50x as long as the anime.
