Secure messaging service Signal is still ready to shut down its Canadian operations if Bill C-22, known as the Lawful Access Act, becomes law and is enforced.

…by not complying with a draconian surveillance bill? Signal isn’t perfect but they are making the right call here.
By having an entity in the first place to force to comply.
