I asked my cat …
I also asked your cat

Treebeard isn’t all that smart.
Take that back, he’s incredibly wise. Teaches regulation of emotion, opposes the destruction of nature and the use of industry for profit, is deeply emotional but respects his partner’s self-determination, writes poetry, takes leadership roles without being dictatorial, and puts his life on the line for others.
He got tricked by hobbits on the best way to get back to the Shire.
