    AKs aren’t as reliable as the meme pretends. Anything sufficiently widely produced (and used) will be reliable, because as they’re produced they’ll find defects and fix them, until eventually they run out of defects.

      I dunno, having had an AK pattern rifle as a service rifle they are stupidly reliable. I have had a lot more iasues with the AR pattern ones I’ve used, although I will admit I don’t have comparable experience with them.
