This is a feature that as far as i know lemmy does not have, so it might be worth it to checkout and support piefed, it will probably be useful if there are certain topics that are really relevant to you and you want to develop in depth knowledge of.
Love to see unique features for piefed. So many different ways to tackle “threadiverse” as a project and I think we’re all better off with some experimentation

It’s possible to use Lemmy clients with piefed? Tried boost and can’t login.
Not yet, no. There’s no API for clients like Boost to interact with. There’s some discussion about one here
A valid alternative to lemmy is… any other part of the fediverse.
