    TL;DW:

    • Pentiment, Hi Fi Rush, Grounded, Sea of Thives are going cross-platform

    • Indiana Jones and Starfield are NOT going cross-platform, contrary to rumors

    • Phil emphasizes this is “not a change of their fundamental exclusive strategy”

    • They are doubling down on Game Pass, saying all their games will be on game pass day 1

    • Actiblizz games are coming to game pass, starting with Diablo 4.

    • Next-gen Xbox confirmed and are hyping it up to be the largest technical leap in any hardware generation

Did the specific games get confirmed? Video basically said two live service games and two smaller passion projects.

The Verge claimed that’s what they are and it seems to match what Spencer said about the games. The verge is a trustworthy source I’d say.

Sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans tell me the first two titles will be Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment, followed by Sea of Thieves and Grounded.

One step closer to the dream of turning the video game industry into the music industry

Musicians in the age of streaming cannot, quote, “record music once every three to four years and think that’s going to be enough.” That pronouncement came from Spotify CEO Daniel Ek in a recent interview with the website Music Ally. His comment made a lot of musicians angry and reignited frustrations over how much Spotify pays artists. At a time when the company’s business is doing relatively well, NPR’s Andrew Limbong takes a look at how the cash is flowing.

Look for video game execs spouting this exact same copypasta class war bullshit going forward

I’m hoping this means more exposure for Hi-Fi Rush and more odds for a sequel. I loved that game to death
