ProtonPlus is a useful tool for managing compatibility layers like Valve's Proton, GE-Proton and more on Linux, SteamOS and Steam Deck.

    I don’t like the interface tbh. I much rather use ProtonUp-QT for this purpose.

    At least in my experience proton plus is restricted in what you can and can’t do.

      Agreed, it feels a lot like Bottles and I am not really a fan of it’s interface either personally.

      I haven’t checked, but can protonup QT manage the vk3d and dxvk versions too?

        Not sure. I rarely use it as is. I haven’t done anything in depth. I have only pulled it up on rare occasions I need specific versions.

        Like 98% of my library is just install and play with default steam hotfix version.

    I just install ProtonGE from AUR and then it is a magic option in Steam. Idk why we need whole programs for this

      It’s not that easy for everyone, Debian users have to do it manually or through a third party application like ProtonUp-Qt.
