To the several people who reported this post:

This community does not have a ban on AI generated images. Especially ones as silly and harmless as this.

Should a user abuse AI generated images, such as spamming them, then action will be taken against them. But one-off silly images like this are fine.

I prefer to allow posts with controversial subjects that don’t otherwise violate any rules, such as AI generated images, because it allows for important conversations.

I would rather allow the occasional AI image be posted so that people can discuss why AI images are bad.

There isn’t anything wrong with a comment section discussing a subject related to the post even if that subject isn’t what the community is about.

If someone posted a picture of a cat-shaped pizza then it’d be fine for that post’s commenters to discuss pizza in general.

You’re the one who took over c/dogs? And then banned anyone putting up facts about pitbulls. I’m not surprised you’re defending AI garbage, too.

Yes, arguing over doggy eugenics is off-topic on a forum about dog pictures. This was an established rule before I took over the community.

You were banned after being warned and made aware of the rule, after multiple violations and many reports from other users in the modlog.

Besides, I don’t know why you’re tu quoquing about this in an unrelated community, nor why you’re harassing me via DM for that matter.

              Move on.

And no, AI is strictly banned in all communities I moderate. My comment above is constructive and opens a discussion, unlike your ad hominem comment here.

You told to provide facts, I did just that. After that you got all pissy and banned me with a snarky, powertripping comment you edited to remove the snark very soon after. You know pitbulls are banned in many civilized countries, right? And for a good reason: they are bred for violence. “Doggy eugenics” Jesus…

But hey, when you get to powertrip you got to powertrip even if it’s to defend a dog breed that kills and maims even unprovoked way more than any other ones, am I right?

There are ethical concerns with the use of AI, especially image generation.

c/dogs has a strict no AI policy, and it seems to be appreciated by our users.

This take is this community’s equivalent to the sole c/dogs mod (who very recently took over) banning people for putting up facts about pitbulls: pitiful
