I’m happy getting older, for now, and that ain’t gonna last. The aches, pains, other weirdness doesn’t bother me so much, but the damned reading glasses give me fits.
Worn glasses since I was five. Now I have to either carry a pair along with wearing contacts, or take regular glasses off to read.
Working outside has noticeably improved my close vision though!
You might try the progressive lenses. Some people hate them, and I was worried I would, but my opthalmologist talked me into trying them and they’re great.
