Those graphics were incredible at the time.

Perhaps old games with poor graphics are so popular because people are particularly fed up with reality these days.

Sometimes I just really want to play that simple childhood game

1. I’ve really been getting into retro emulation recently and would highly recommend it.

2. Pixel graphics are the best even in modern games (Enter the Gungeon, Dead Cells, Stardew Valley, Celeste, etc).
