The search bar thing will depend on who makes your phone, I don’t have one on Samsung.
Finally being able to get rid of certain notifications means I can finally stop hiding a whole bunch of them in the app settings.
I’m not sure what you mean by “combined volume control”, last time my ringer and notification sounds were linked must’ve been Android 7? What phones had those two linked?
I use AOSP and it’s there.

It was always combined for me. In fact there used to be a switch to link or unlink them.
