you wont be alone in this matter :)

Its a sign of whats to come sooner or later. Look at ubuntu. I am using arch right now, loved ubuntu in the past, but that has became a shitshow to say the least. Now I wanted a changed and was looking heavily at fedora, but Im afraid i will settle down and It will end up with something from that project being integrated in the main distro. Idk just my thoughts.

I was thinking to test fedora for some time … now i dont know I want to …

just started testing … very interesting ngl!

Interesting, might look in to it, thanks for sharing!

Ow yeah 100%, just A case for reusability, repairability, and longevity. This might help users to extend the life of their computers, thus long term lower costs for the user itself when extending the life of the machine.

Good idea NGL, won’t mind either way to be honest

I know that, but I’d like to buy the cool disk with official box and all that why not.

I got a framework some time ago, best decision ever. I can upgrade anything and everything on my laptop when I want, how I want, where I want.

If they do that, I’d re-buy all my gog games instantly collectors edition. As long as they have no DRM, no internet requirements and I can play them whenever, wherever, I’m buying.

The way to go. I have two of those haha.

Because I know 2 people with Sony consoles and about 100 with steam accounts.

I work in Siemens (big tech) and I have a small business. On the side my brother in law has a middle sized business and I have worked for them in the past.
You working for IT for yeara is like me breathing air, everybody works for IT, unless argument. Maybe its even proof that you are out of touch, as you live in your IT sector bubble and think the real world works as your corporate IT job procedurea. Its in fact working against your argument when I think about it.
PDFs have literally zero crap to do with juggling excels back and forth and word documents used as templates that have to be edited constantly in small to middle sized business.
Also just reading your lunatic ramblinc about worms ransoms, huffing glue and Dolores… Just speaks volume that you are not here to hear opinions and arguments but just put your of course “correct” opinion on top of everybody and call them names.
Enjoy living in your IT job world boss.

I can also share ALL of my games with a lot of people as in friends and family, forever!

Of course, and as long as they exist. They are after all a digital platform, nothing that can be done about that. Still.

I guess you are right, but still, you can’t have that on other platforms and my second point stands strong.

Are you saying a business has never said “this needs to be a PDF” before?
What are you talking about mate ? We are talking about open office and microsoft office, what PDF ?! What does PDF have to do with excels, columns and rows, misalignment and word objects moving on a word document.
Fuck off with that noise. If they don’t understand how to use “save as” they don’t deserve the contract.
you have obviously never dealt with businesses first hand. I work in big tech, and you cant do that here eater. It has to be done naturally, you cant do that in a fast pace business work flow, you will simply loose clients and money because you are too slow, asking people to change their habits, and waiting for someone to convert something that they forgot to convert it because you feel like a special snowflake and you want your pancakes done in a special way.
nope.
