Tried a bunch of different “classic game but roguelite” like cloverpit (slot machine), dominova (dominoes), dungeons and degenerate gamblers (blackjack) demos and while they’re not as polished as say Balatro, i’m really enjoying that vibe. easy to do a run or two and log off again - or sit down and indulge that gambling itch for 5 hours.

Another good one (sadly not participating SNF it seems) is Dice with Death.
Somewhat narrative, moody dice game with tons of different “builds” to try and assemble throughout a run with different characters vastly changing how the game plays.

Define fantasy. Soft scifi just has more fi than sci and can totally go into the realm of fantasy

I’m from a country with sensible gun laws and no gestapo snatching people off the streets. yet we still take to the streets in protest of a far right party blasting past constitutional lines - they’re currently under investigation and potentially to be banned in the future.

All without posturing as armed defenders of democracy watching it’s downfall from the sidelines.

I think it’s more that they cosy up to tyranny because they are spineless hanger-ons.
