Yes you do. In fact Apple warns you several times to keep copies of the key secure because there’s no way for them to help if it’s lost.

Well those back doors don’t seem to be working in the actual case happening currently. What you’re saying is assumptions.
Also you’re the second commenter today to say they have a bridge to sell me. Is this old saying making a comeback or is it bots?

If a person is using lockdown mode they more than likely also have Advanced Data Protection enabled. This removes iCloud keys on Apple’s side and is only stored on device.
In that case you hold the keys and it’s encrypted.

AI is not my thing. I don’t really appreciate these companies scanning everything under the sun, but this is a case where Google did it better. They used a custom scanner that didn’t require books to be destroyed in order to scan.

I’m proud to be able to work with my hands and so should anyone else who does. It doesn’t matter if it’s for a job or just around your home. Never too late to learn.
Better to know how to do for yourself instead of being a helpless dick like Alex Karp and his Ancient Aliens theory hairdo.

I also have a Sony TV and watch Vincent on HDTVtest.
The TCL news is shocking. Time will tell but it doesn’t seem good to me.

Digimon.

Worse, It’s Aunt Esther.

That’s when you call your credit card company to let them know you want to cancel payment but the website isn’t allowing at this time.
Politely request cancellation of any automated payments going forward and if one went through recently see if it’s possible to initiate a charge back. Not sure if a charge back would work in this situation but worth a try.
Wishing you well @ernest@kbin.social

Is your VPN exit node in the UK? Both .zip instances have them geoblocked to avoid issues with the new laws there.
Let’s not forget his high achievement of winning a Golden Razzie award for his terrible performance as….himself. Yes, he achieved worst supporting actor playing himself. Not only that the movie is a perverted B- dumpster fire.
Just to be clear, I’m not saying this is anywhere near as serious compared to the points you’ve made. Those are truly harmful things done to others. To know he was in such a low ranked movie and had the worst performance of everyone in it while trying to portray himself brings a bit of joy.

This hasn’t happened to me but I can imagine the frustration. Maybe an option to hide buttons on scroll could help with preventing the accidental press.
Slazer2au has the answer. Unless you switch to a PieFed account then you won’t see them because saved posts in Voyager aren’t working in app for that platform yet.
You will see them in browser but the app is still an early work in progress for PieFed accounts.
Happy birthday Muffin! 🍰🎉
Sounds like her new treats were an excellent present.

Even though LemmyNSFW is outside of the UK the admins of any instance will be responsible for verification of UK users because of this law. This is why .zip (Lemmy and PieFed) have geoblocked the UK. It’s a lot of work and responsibility to take on.
Here’s the post from Demigodrick explaining this situation better than I can.

There’s also this article from TechCrunch.
Grok 4 seems to consult Elon Musk to answer controversial questions
They tried it out themselves and have reports from other users as well.

Yes it’s a handy feature. You should be up and running soon enough. :)

You can log in to your lemm.ee account, settings and look for “Import/Export Settings”, then save the .json file to your device. Then log into your db0 account, go to the same Import/Export Settings and upload your .json file.
All of your saved posts, blocked people/ communities/instances will be transferred. If it doesn’t all show up immediately don’t be concerned, sometimes it takes a little while.
