When they say “most people” they always mean shareholders. Implementing AI in any shape or form into your product will make the line go up as well as make the consumer experience infinitely worse.

It is not just pricing, it is also that they will become less and less available in the future. All by design of the hardware manufacturers, who wants you to rent computers, and not own your own personal one.

They are creating artificial scarcity by simply stopping production of consumergrade hardware. Prices will not ease after 2029 unless the bubble has popped and those companies gone under, because that would undermine their plans. On the contrary new consumer grade hardware will simply cease to exist.

The thing is that they are now attempting to pivot to cloud computer services with the data centers instead of only AI. It is not a thing consumers wants either, but the tech giants (particularly nvidia and microslop) have the power to simply stop producing consumergrade hardware, so people will be forced to rent their shitty services.

That is another bubble which will need bursting.

Lots of statesponsored datacenters being build in China. And of course with no way to say no to those.

And a majority of domestically produced Chinese RAM-chips are being funneled into Chinese datacenters (by government mandate).

Jensen Huang has been pretty open about that being the plan lately. Although he still insists that even the cloud computers will be run by AI agents.

The difference is that they make fun of minorities getting killed. We make fun of fascists getting killed. It is not the same in any way.

There probably are information campaigns. But disinformation has a massive advantage because it doesn’t need facts, you just need catchy slogans with no basis in reality. They spread much more easily.

Seems like the AI techbros are way ahead of you on that one.

How many have died from swatting outside of the US? None of the linked examples seems to involve armed police just running wild shooting anything that moves as in those US examples.

Not to mention the probably worst part is that they needlessly consume energy which could have been used for actual useful purposes, adding more carbon emission at a time when we desperately need to lower that for the sake of not burning our own fucking planet.

That’s not gonna happen though. The rich will stay richer and the common pleb will be the ones carrying the weight of their failure.
