They probably are designed for low resolution because Apple couldn’t mass produce better cameras affordably. Plus there is other hardware they don’t have space for.
This will most likely follow the iPhone camera business model where new model AirPods will keep getting upgraded cameras.

AirPods aren’t impressive and Apple isn’t focused on exciting their customers like they were a decade ago. My old Apple Watch died recently and I replaced it with another brand. Be loyal to Apple the same way they are loyal to you.

We live in a time where democrats do nothing but act appalled, corporations control politics, corporations keep getting bigger, consumer prices increase year after year, healthcare premiums constantly cost more and employee benefits keep getting more expensive every year. What gives you the idea corporations are going to let politicians triple minimum wage? If that happens it will have a ripple effect where higher paying job positions will want a raise because why should someone making an entry level wage be paid the same as a job position with a lot more responsibility?
2 years is wishful thinking. There is enough space in entertainment for AI actors and human actors. That being said, I think AI actors will dominate here.
The average movie watcher is already a fan of a fake image of entertainers whether they are on screen or not. AI isn’t replacing your best friend, it’s replacing someone you have never met and will probably never see in person anyway. Actors will have to start building deeper connections with their fans if they plan to stick around.
I would never see a comment like that on Reddit unless 800 bots upvoted it.
Hopefully Reddit is next. World news, technology, and pretty much every big name subreddit could use a shutdown. I get wayyyy more replies on Lemmy than I ever did on “active” reddit posts with supposedly 4k comments. It got to the point that I would be surprised anytime someone replied to me.
I don’t see the benefit for the average person to get rid of cash. If it’s digital it’s trackable, can be hacked and more easily controlled by other parties. Also it allows for banks to charge more service fees.

I once read that not being able to make enough money to buy food is when a revolutionary happens. It’s the final straw that people can no longer ignore. It has to happen on a national level.

I don’t understand the appeal of AI for most things. The amount of incorrect information it gives is already too high making it unreliable. The benefit seems to be with brainstorming ideas or dealing with fiction.
I don’t understand the full picture here, but the person who is submitting AI slop will be held accountable. Never a company.
So if a company is pushing staff to us AI to complete projects faster and their code ends up being AI slop when submitted, only the person working for the company will be held responsible.
I’m not sure what the repercussions are here but hopefully it’s not a large fine. Those fines could add up quick if the person is submitting code all the time and doesn’t know they are messing up.

China recently passed an amendment to their Cybersecurity law giving them more power to go after international hackers like this.
China could pay someone to track down the hacker and catch or kill them. I think they have a part of their government for that actually. Maybe they quietly put a bounty on their head. How is china going to prevent this person from continuing to hack them or teach others how to do it? This is a serious problem for whoever hacked them.
What’s crazy is the hacker is trying to sell extremely classified Chinese defense information for only ‘hundreds of thousands of dollars in crypto’. You can get a preview for ‘thousands of dollars’.
