Daisuke Ichihara, who directed Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, has left Capcom and is now employed by ILCA.

The news comes via an ILCA special interview published by CGWORLD.JP, in which Ichihara is introduced as ILCA’s Kyoto Development Division director and a mid-career hire.

“You only live once, right?” Ichihara told CGWORLD.JP. “I’d like to build an organization that can realize the proposals of staff who have something they want to create. I myself joined the company as a mid-career hire, but I really want to build up this young organization together.”
