Was looking for canvases to paint over and found this guy. Amateur painting, about the same level I am, but what kills me is the message on the back. “To my sister - I love you.”

My hope is that this painter just became so prolific, that they finally told their sister “its ok, you don’t have to keep them all, go ahead and get rid of some of my older stuff.” Any other scenario is kind of heartbreaking.

Just wanted to post this for posterity before breaking out the gesso.
