What’s going on with the OnePlus 12 camera? I’ve gotten a number of questions from folks concerned about the new camera sensor in the OnePlus 12, and how it might be different from the OnePlus Open. Is OnePlus trying to pull a fast one? Should folks expect poorer camera performance on the less expensive phone? Why did Sony give these sensors different names?

Overall I thought this was a good video. It definitely cleared up the confusion I was having with the Sony lytia branding. But it does make me wonder what the next gen Xperia’s sensors will be. Since 2-layer transistor pixels were the advertised feature of the main sensor. Will they bring that on the tele and ultra wide as well or do something similar to what OnePlus did with the 12.
